Master in Applied Ethics, focus on care ethics & medical ethics, holistic therapist, lawyer. She researched the Latin American Mamá Cultiva grassroots health movement, examining the ethical and human rights foundations for its work. The treatment of medical cannabis in recent decades in practice, research, and policy is an example of the extent to which the exclusion of certain knowledge and experience in health care can be detrimental to patients' interests. She has published the results of her research in her book Mamá Cultiva: Self-Help with Medical Cannabis in Latin America (bod.de). During her travels and research stays, the speaker became acquainted with holistically oriented forms of therapy from different cultures and their different approaches to health, healing and the good way of dying. She is a member of the Age and Care Research Group at the University of Graz.
